I remember seriously wounded heroes retreating, I don't see them do so now.Īlthough there are less factions in BFME1, they play out differently. In BFME2, you don't need any siege machines.Ĭontrary to what has been promised as well, the AI hasn't improved (some would even say it has become worse. The least they could do would be to at least convert the BFME1 campaign and included in BFME2.īFME1 also makes siege fun (and a must) - there are walls, strong walls. The missions in BFME2 do not carry over armies, and are just plain easy (they are like tutorials, asking you to do this and that, introducing you to the interface and stuff, which are already introduced in the tutorial already!!!) They play out more like RPG.
the campaign in BFME1 was a lot more tense, and you get persistent armies.
Personally, I am beginning to miss BFME1 - strange but trueĪlthought BFME2 has more factions and 'more things to see', I remember enjoying BFME1 more. For those of you who have played both games, which do you like more?
